Course Overview
This short course will provide you with the basics in using digital devices such as computers and smartphones. You will be provided with extensive time to practice using computers to complete basic tasks such as using the internet to access myGov, navigating the desktop, and understanding files and folders.
This course is a basic, for beginners program.

BSBTEC101 Operate digital devices
FSKDIG003 Use digital technology for non-routine workplace tasks

Accreditation and Employment Pathways
On successful completion of assessment requirements, the learner will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for BSBTEC101 Operate digital devices & FSKDIG003 Use digital technology for non-routine workplace tasks.
This course is designed to assist student improve and increase digital literacy skills and knowledge for pathways into further education and or to improve skills for work. This course is a basic, for beginners program.
Entry Requirements/Pre-requisites
- Must complete an Upfront Assessment of Needs (UAN)
- All learners must provide their USI upon enrolment.
- All participants of the course must provide 100 points of identification with at least 1 for of photo identification.
