This short course provides you with basic reading and writing skills needed to navigate everyday situations, partake in further education, or to effectively contribute to workplaces. The course is tailored to workplace-related information and uses real examples of workplace texts.

Accreditation and Employment Pathways

On successful completion of assessment requirements, the learner will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for FSKRDG007 Read and respond to simple workplace information & FSKWTG006 Write simple workplace information.

This accreditation is designed to assist student to improve reading and writing skills and knowledge level prior to the commencement of further education and or for improved employment requirements.
 
Entry Requirements/Pre-requisites
 
  • Must complete an Upfront Assessment of Needs (UAN)
  • All learners must provide their USI upon enrolment.
  • All participants of the course must provide 100 points of identification with at least 1 for of photo identification.
