Course Overview
Ready, Set, Go Employability Skills provides you with the skills all employers expect you to have and are transferrable to just about any workplace or training course.
This program focuses on the development of core skills to up skill job seekers in communication, organisation skills, team work and organisation skills whilst taking an action focused approach to career planning and employment. 
 
Course Content
Students undertaking this course can expect to develop competency skills and knowledge including:
Communicating in the work place
Working effectively with others to build productive relationships
Organise daily work activities
Action focused career planning tools and strategies
Health and safety of self and others
Approaching employers and confidently communicating and advocating for mutual benefit

$50.00 participant contribution.

Pathways
Successful completion of this program the student will receive a statement of attainment for SSDIS01001 – Ready Set Go Employability Skill Set.
 
Participants who have completed this course could enrol in BSB20120 – Certificate II in Workplace Skills or Certificate III level qualification within the Business Package  https://training.gov.au/Training/Details/BSB
 
Delivery
4 day per week, 9:00am – 4:00pm for 5 weeks (20 days) 
Theory learning combined with onsite practical assessment components in a simulated workplace environment

BSBCMM211 Apply communication skills
BSBTEC201 Use business software applications
BSBTWK201 Work effectively with others
BSBWHS211 Contribute to the health and safety of self and others
FSKLRG010 Use routine strategies for career planning 
 
Entry Requirements/Pre-requisites
Must complete an Upfront Assessment of Needs (UAN)
All learners must provide their USI upon enrolment.
All participants of the course must provide 100 points of identification with at least 1 for of photo identification
